Delaware Corporate and Commercial Litigators

Ross Aronstam & Moritz LLP attorneys have successfully litigated and tried some of the most significant corporate and commercial disputes in the Court of Chancery.  Our attorneys also have significant experience in all state and federal courts in Delaware, including other Delaware trial courts, the Supreme Court of Delaware, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit — and in other jurisdictions in cases involving Delaware law issues.  We draw on this experience in counseling clients to limit litigation expense, but we treat every case as if it will go to trial.

Incredible judgment and expertise in litigating before Delaware courts"
- The Legal500

The firm originated as Seitz Ross Aronstam & Moritz LLP and was renamed Ross Aronstam & Moritz LLP, after Collins J. Seitz, Jr. was appointed Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware.  From inception, the firm has represented parties in some of the most significant corporate and commercial disputes in the Delaware courts.  Chambers USA 2024, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business recently recognized the firm's "strong track record in corporate and commercial disputes in Delaware," ranking the firm as "Band 1" for Chancery matters.  Chambers praised the firm's lawyers' "knowledge of the law and the judiciary," stating that their "collaboration and client service is great." Chambers also noted the firm's advisory work for “directors and special committees on associated corporate governance and transactional matters.”  The Legal 500 US has likewise recognized the firm as one of the nation's leading law firms for M&A litigation.  Sources described Ross Aronstam & Moritz as an “excellent” firm “that can try complex commercial cases,” ”really understands what will work in the courts,” and is “as effective as any top firm in Delaware or New York.”
