Overview

Reiko represents business entities, directors, and officers in corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Delaware Superior Court.  Her practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, as well as the fiduciary duties of directors and officers, alternative entities, and other corporate governance matters.

Most recently, Reiko represented Venator Materials PLC and was a member of the trial team in a bet-the-company litigation arising out of an agreement concerning the potential sale of two titanium dioxide facilities for $1.1 billion.  The case culminated in an eight-day jury trial in which the court granted a directed verdict for Venator on both its $75 million claim and the $400 million counterclaim.

Reiko began her legal career at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in New York City, and then served as one of the first judicial law clerks to the Honorable Wendy Beetlestone in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  Following her clerkship, Reiko practiced at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she represented financial institutions and other corporate clients in various complex litigation and regulatory matters, before joining RAM.

Reiko is an active member of the Delaware State Bar Association and the Rodney Inn of Court.
