Ross Aronstam & Moritz partner Garrett Moritz, together with other attorneys from Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, represented JPMorgan in a stockholder suit, brought in New York state court but applying Delaware law, challenging JPMorgan’s acquisition of Bear Stearns. Garrett co-authored a successful summary judgment motion, which was awarded the New York State Bar Association Commercial Litigation Section’s 2009 award for best brief.
